“In 2020 I decided to join some organisations to do some more networking. Of all organisations Foodvalley offered the best programme for us. The best sessions and personal guidance. They really listen to what you want. Ask you for interviews and all kinds of sessions. I am very happy with their approach and also with the link to ScaleUpNation.”
It takes a village to raise a child, and it takes a community to nurture innovation. We strive to build and sustain a global community in which groundbreaking innovations have every opportunity to sprout, scale and succeed, by:
- scouting and connecting the most promising businesses and entrepreneurs
- facilitating entrepreneurs in their innovation journey by organising world-class support and giving access to inspiring partners, up-to-date information, unique facilities and capital
- building an entrepreneurial community that collaborates both locally and internationally to build a sustainable food system to feed the world.

Jonathan Teoh’s passion and expertise
Restlessness and an entrepreneurial spirit guided Jonathan to the Hotel Management School where he became inspired by the wonderful world of food and beverages. After spending time in Africa during his studies, his passion for food was merged with an endless respect and marvel for our natural world. In 2008, Jonathan co-founded the Doppio Espresso chain and in the subsequent decade helped grow the company from one to over thirty locations in the Netherlands. During this period, he also served a couple of years as a board member of the National Franchise Association. Helping entrepreneurs succeed in their pursuit of success and, by doing so, making a positive impact on the world are the driving forces behind his role at Foodvalley. Attracting the most talented entrepreneurs, enabling them to access resources, develop necessary skills, and find the connections they need to validate, grow and scale their business are his core activities.
