From a study performed in 2018 by the Food Strategy Institute, we learned that food manufacturing companies are losing around 5% of their annual turnover in terms of non-quality and internal inefficiencies. Most companies fail to address this major loss in an effective manner. By the same token, the ASQ Global State of Quality report shows that only 39% of the companies around the globe do measure the financial impact of non-quality to some extent.
