F&A Next: Adapting Consumption to Planetary boundaries
On 24-25 May 2023, hundreds of the world’s leading tech startups, scale-ups, investors and corporates in food and agriculture will meet at the 8th F&A Next summit in Wageningen, and online. F&A Next is a two-day, not-for-profit summit that aims to catalyse sustainable food and agriculture innovation. It is here where about 700 of the world’s brightest minds in agrifoodtech come together to drive the industry forward with advanced sustainable innovations. Theme: Adapting Consumption to Planetary Boundaries
In its 8th edition, F&A Next will zoom in on the need for adapting consumption to planetary boundaries. Feeding our ever-growing world population is becoming a major challenge given the limited resources of our planet and the need to safeguard our planet’s health. To transform and revamp global food production we need game-changing solutions as well as change in behaviour. And it’s not only change of production we are talking about. We also need to adapt our consumption behaviour. At F&A Next 2023, the interaction between sustainable production and consumption of food will be brought to light and what is needed to turn the agrifood industry into nature positive for a net zero future.
What to expect?
Thought leaders and frontrunners share their experience and intakes on important developments in the industry. Key industry players share their perspectives on hot topics, publicly exploring both sides of debated issues and policies in search of solutions. Breakout sessions that provide in-depth discussion and interaction with small groups of highly engaged participants. Showcases of promising startups that aim to transform the industry.
