Foodvalley Webinar: Circular Agriculture
Tuesday 21 April 2020, the Foodvalley Webinar Circular Agriculture will take place. Let’s produce more with fewer inputs and see waste as a resource.
Given the turbulent times we live in, we organize this session online rather than a physical breakfast session at the Foodvalley office, as we often do on certain topics. While you enjoy your breakfast at home you can listen and interact with interesting speakers about topic Circular Agriculture.
Multinationals, SMEs, knowledge suppliers, government, education and NGOs work together on the most pioneering innovations in agriculture and food. These innovations are necessary for a sustainable and healthy future of our world. Within a circular agriculture, healthy and tasty food is produced in balance with the living environment. That means fewer inputs and less waste. With theme Circular Agriculture, which is one of the spearheads of the Foodvalley, we strive to accelerate the transition to a circular agriculture; starting right from the beginning (knowledge) to innovations within companies and society.
We are happy to announce as speakers during the session Krijn Poppe, Research Manager and Sr. Economist at Wageningen University & Research and Leo den Hartog, Director R&D and Quality Affairs at Nutreco. Both share with you their vision as an outline of the transition to a circular agriculture and what it requires of us. The session will be moderated by Henri Holster on behalf of Foodvalley NL.
