Personal note:
Five years ago I received a Thai government scholarship to continue my BSc in Thailand or abroad. I decided to go abroad because I wanted to experience life in a developed country and get to know its different culture, technology, organization etc. I chose the Netherlands because I wanted to enhance my food knowledge with the most professional food education there is. After I had earned my BSc in Food Innovation Management, I decided to continue my Master’s in Food Safety. Based on my ambition and interest in food quality assurance and control, I thought a Food Safety specialization would suit me and help me achieve my goals. In addition, WUR has a great reputation as a professional university for food education. Therefore, I decided that combining the Wageningen UR with the Food Valley Ambassador Program would best fulfill my needs. The one-year internship program was also an attractive feature. It will allow me to gain professional experience in the European food industry. I will be able to apply my knowledge in the real working environment, learn more from my co-workers and impress my employer with efficient work. Furthermore, being involved in the FVAP gives me a chance to create a network and become a link between Dutch and Thai food businesses. I believe this year-long working experience will provide me with better career opportunities.
