About Greece:
Business travelers to Greece will notice some challenging paradoxes, the main one being that Greeks who are renowned for their entrepreneurial skill, seem not to have managed to achieve economic success. Progress in such areas is being made and although doing business in Greece may sometimes seem difficult and painfully slow, prospects for the future are bright. Greece can offer knowledge on production of traditional cheeses, wines & spirits, honey, herbs & spices with quality and profitable proposals.
Personal note:
I chose to study abroad in order to develop skills and gain experiences by being immersed in an entirely new cultural setting. I have discovered new strengths and abilities in myself and learned to effectively adapt and respond to change.
I am glad that I will earn an MSc in Food Technology with a specialization in Dairy Science; Technology at an institution which ensures a high standard of education. Wageningen University is known for its position as one of the world leaders in publication and research, while the Food Science faculty is one of the most highly respected among European universities. Through the Food Valley Ambassador Program, I hope to get a chance to start a successful international career in the Food industry. The program will not only offer me professional training and support, but will also help me develop skills in many other ways.
During my internship, there will be an emphasis on the relationship with professional practice and I will get the chance to apply my academic learning to hands-on situations..
I am motivated to continue to strive for the best. I hope to make everyone proud by epitomizing all of the values Food Valley and her companies stand for, the values on which they have founded their outstanding reputation.
