What can your home country offer Dutch food companies:
Agricultural raw food materials and products e.g. fruits and vegetables, rice, seafood, herbs and spices etc.
What are the main characteristics of the business culture in your home country:
After finishing my Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology in Thailand, I decided to continue my study in The Netherlands because the education in the field of food science and technology over here is well-known and considered one of the best. In addition, The Netherlands has developed many research programs in food-related fields. I decided to study a Master of Food Safety because I realized the importance of consumer health. I learned of the number of cases of foodborne diseases, and even deaths, caused by unsafe foods. I hope that I can contribute to the reduction of food safety issues, either as a researcher or in the service of a food manufacturer or some other relevant organization. I decided to join the Food Valley Ambassador program because it gave me an opportunity to study abroad and do an internship in an international company. This degree and work experience will definitely help me to become more professional. I intend to use the knowledge I gained here to help develop the food industries in Thailand and to foster ties between food businesses in The Netherlands and Thailand.
