Do you want to hear, see, feel, experience and taste the latest innovations in the field of food and biobased research?
Join us at our Inspiration Day on Friday June 11, 2010!
Wageningen UR Food & Biobased Research (formerly known as A&F) is organising this day for all its partners. The varied programme consists of a symposium, various tours and open space meetings, amongst other events. We would like to inspire you, yet also hope to be inspired by you by showing the locations where we work on innovation on a daily basis. You are free to participate in all of the day’s activities or check in only for the morning or the afternoon programme.
The choice is yours!

Programme:

09.30: Welcome

10.00 - 12.15: Symposium
“Harvesting food, chemicals, materials and fuels”
Four speakers will bring you up to date on visions, thoughts and recent research on this theme and would also be interested in hearing your opinion and experience:

- Ir. Peter Jansen, Manager process technology innovation centre, Purac a CSM Company
- prof.dr.ir. René Wijffels, professor Bioprocess Engineering

12.30 - 14.00: Lunch in the Restaurant of the Future: a healthy and sustainable lunch

13.30 - 17.00: Afternoon programme

- Various tours will be given, featuring different demos based on our 5 main programmes. We will show you the latest developments in your professional field, and will take you to the world of innovation:

Healthy Food
Sustainable Food Chains
Biobased Materials
Biobased Chemicals and
Biofuels & Energy

- Open space meetings, professionals will engage in discussions with you on hot debate topics. You are free to attend any of these sessions and participate in the discussions.

- Networking
And of course participants will have ample opportunities throughout the day to mingle in the special networking café.

- Opening Qualitron 13.45 - 14.00
Official opening of the Qualitron, the renewed facility for integral fresh chain innovation research.

- Informal reception
The Inspiration Day will be concluded with a drink and nibbles.

Registration
Register to attend the Inspiration Day, and indicate which segments you would like to participate in. There is a maximum number of participants for the morning programme, so be sure not to wait too long to register! Closing date 31 May.
