Food Valley Conference: It's a matter of taste
The food industry faces major challenges: consumers want fresher, healthier, more affordable and varied food. Both the industry and the European Union are insisting on more responsible, reliable and faster food production, without compromising taste: a crucial criterion consumers apply when making their food choices. The 7th Food Valley Conference in the Netherlands will focus on taste and will showcase the latest trends and developments.
One of the main topics in the interactive workshops and lectures are the factors that influence taste, for example, age, expectations, experience, health and culture. Other topics include the influence of taste in personalized food; the food chain; and salt, sugar and fat reduction.

During the conference, the Innovation Plaza will showcase food and food-related companies and will present their latest innovations. A special section is reserved for start-up companies. And each year, the Food Valley Award goes to the most distinctive project or initiative in the Dutch food or food-related industry. The prize is awarded to companies that stand out in terms of innovation, partnership and Corporate Social Responsibility.
