Facility Sharing
This is the life-tech facilities market, where supply meets demand. It offers an overview of available facilities in the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, food & nutrition and medical technology. Here you can find the available overcapacity and commercial facilities, equipment and expertise. Examples include simulation, research and analysis equipment, tests, (pilot) production and the development of biomaterials.
Optimal use of capacity
Facility Sharing is an important way to stimulate innovation and the regional economy. Most SMBs cannot afford to build and equip their own R&D facilities. A good network of shared facilities is crucial for these businesses to shorten the time to market. Given the right conditions, Facility Sharing is an attractive way for suppliers to spread costs and risk while improving the capacity utilization of costly facilities.
Finding facilities
Supply and demand in the technical facilities market are untransparent. Entrepreneurs, researchers and product developers indicate that the search for specific expertise and testing facilities is time-consuming and not always fruitful. At the same time, facility suppliers find it difficult to locate potential users and to interest them in the available equipment. Facility Sharing, the life-tech facilities marketplace, was designed to bridge these gaps.
Facility Sharing was initiated by NV Bom, Food Valley and Health Valley and was sponsored by the Provinces of North Brabant and Gelderland.
