Introduction

A growing number of food related businesses and organizations are investing in Food Valley by joining the Food Valley Society. The Society plays an important role in determining the direction and substance of Food Valley’s activities. The Society helps set the innovation agenda. The Food Valley Society is a network where ideas blossom, where trends are turned into products, and where the language of business is spoken. Innovation is our core business.

A network that works
Various activities are organized for the members of the Food Valley Society. Four to six times a year, the Society holds members-only meetings. These are hosted by one of the member companies, which benefits from an excellent opportunity to showcase its own business. The meetings always deal with a particular theme, which means members jointly select topical themes to put on the agenda. There is, of course, a factory tour. These packed meetings have proven to be an outstanding opportunity to network and initiate closer cooperation.

Active members
The Food Valley Society alerts its members of interesting conferences, news and developments. Members are asked to take part in national and international programs, or to join other members at an international trade fair. But members also actively take part in networking activities. They are asked to suggest themes for the conferences jointly organized with Food Valley. They submit questions to Food Valley which can then be developed into joint projects with other parties in the network. And of course, active members know where to find each other. 

Publicity
Food Valley offers its network outstanding opportunities for publicity. For instance, members may put news items on the website and in the Society’s newsletter. They can also call attention to interesting developments and invite members to conferences. Food Valley also actively approaches the various news media. Where possible, Food Valley calls the media’s attention to its network members. Experience has shown that the media know where to find us, and our members!
